Note of Precision: Chiapas / México 2006

A great thanks with all these citizens and Mexican organizations which exchange with me the richness of their culture.

Initially, the international conference organized from the point of view of Xe Summit of the francophonie “Sustainable Development: lessons and perspective” of June 01-04, 2004 to Ouagadougou/Burkina Faso, is limited in a book spirit, the intelligible and the theoretical one.

Requests for assistance for the right to the participation of the Civil Society's Actor (EU, Canada Embassy, AUF, France Embassy, French Development Agency…) often receive like answer: “… does not have funds allowing…” or “… we do not have a financial mechanism allowing us… ”. And the conclusions of this international Conference remained in the spheres of fundamental research. No popularization near the Ccivil Society and the Private Sector's Actors.

Why FITS 2006/Chiapas - México fits in the operationnality? The topic is enough like indicator: “2nd International Forum Tourism on Solidary and Fair Trade: the sustainable Development moving”. Another example, investments in the industry of tourism in Cancun/Mexico.

Víctor Urquidi is one of the largest Mexican economists and in social Sciences. He is an eminent figure of the Mexican delegation to the conference of Bretton Woods of July 1944. He worked for the Bank of Mexico, the World Bank and the economic Commission on the Latin America of UNO. He died 02 months after the international Conference of Ouagadougou on the Sustainable Development.

Biographical Note on Víctor Urquidi:
“Victor Urquidi was born in Neuilly (France) the 3 of May of 1919 and died in Mexico the 22 of August of 2004. He got up themselves to the school of Mexico in 1966 and resigned to his presidency in 1985. Also it was member of the club of Rome. Member of the Council of Administrción of the IIPE (international Institute of planning of the Education) from 1984, the Institute was honest when it accepted to preside over his Advice of Administration from 1990 to 1994. Throughout all his race, Victor Urquidi pleaded firmente for the idea that only the sustainable economic development could finally reduce to the poverty and the inequalities not only in Mexico, but also in all Latin America. Its death constitutes a great loss for the community of economists, in general, and for the IIPE, in individual. ” in Tribute to Victor Urquidi, Vol.XXII, N°4 October of 2004 - Informative Letter/IIPE-UNESCO.

Ultimately, these details could be used as justification of the importance which I'm according to Chiapas/México 2006 compared to Ouagadougou 2004.
